WHY give?
Everything we own, everything we have comes from God.So when we give, we simply offer him a very small portion of all the abundance he has already given to us.Giving is an expression of our thankfulness and praise to God!It comes from a heart of worship. For everything we give already belongs to him! We just hold it in Trust, until the day when we will be held accountable to God for the way we managed our allotments.
We are blessed when we give.

Visit from
Rev. Alex Awad
August 17

Despite the world's message that reconciliation is impossible in Israel/Palestine, Rev. Alex Awad continues to walk in the light and hope of our Prince of Peace. He serves as pastor at East Jerusalem Baptist Church, Dean of Students and Professor at Bethlehem Bible College in Palestine, and is a Commissioned Mission Partner with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. He is an informative and inspiring speaker. He brings a powerful message of how one lives out one's faith in one of the most conflicted environments in the world.

You are invited to hear Rev. Awad speak at the following events:
· Monday, August 11, 7:00 p.m., Bellevue First Presbyterian Church
· Saturday, August 16, 9:30 a.m., Registration followed by 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. program, Everett First Presbyterian Church, followed by light lunch and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. presentation
· Sunday, August 17, 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Worship Services, Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, followed by potluck luncheon
